Feldenkrais Method was established by Isralien Phisicist Moche Fekdenkrais.(1904-1984)
Die Feldenkraismethode wurde vom israelischen Physiker Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais (1904 - 1984) entwickelt.
Dr. Feldenkrais was born in in Slawuta, in der Ukraine geboren.
Mid 20., Feldenkrais he earned his engineering degree from the Doctor of Science in Physics at the University of Paris. He worked as a research assistant to nuclear chemist and Nobel Prize laureate Frédéric Joliot-Curie.
He was also a passionate Judo player who earned first black belt as a westerner, he was taucht by one of the Jigoro Kano...
When Feldenrkais was 38, he was facing a biggest challenge in his life. After several knee injuries, he could not walk any more. The chance he could walk again by him self after the surgery was 50%. He dicided to cure by himself.
In addition to Phisics, which he was majared in, he studied Neurologie, Anatomie,発達学、Biomechanics and Psychologie. Judo was also a help.
After 2 years of his reserching and experiments, he finally retrained himself to walk by himself.
He was develped the system to improve ones body by approaching to the brain and nervous system.
Since then he started to give lessons to the people who had difficulities on the body, in 1940. Feldenkrais method was estalished. Until he dies at 80, he kept giving lessons...
Today, Feldenkrais associations exist in allover the world in 21 countries, including Germany, America,England , Austraria and Japan... Here is Germany, is beloved in differents field and getting more and more wellknown method.
zieht er nach Frankreich, studiert erst Maschinenbau und Elektrotechnik, später Physik an der Pariser Sorbonne, wo er auch promoviert.
Nebenbei lernt er mit großer Begeisterung Judo bei Jigoro Kano. Er erwirbt als erster Europäer den schwarzen Gürtel, gründet den ersten Judo-Club Frankreichs, beginnt Judo zu unterrichten und schreibt zwei Bücher darüber.
In seinem Forscher- und Entdeckerdrang assistiert er ab 1938 Frederic Joliot und seiner Frau Irene Curie am Institut Pasteur bei den ersten Kernspaltungsversuchen.
Als ihm eine alte, schwere Knieverletzung erneut das Laufen unmöglich macht und die Operationsverfahren der damaligen Zeit wenig Hoffnung auf Heilung geben, beschließt er, sich selbst zu helfen.
